• Vishal Residency, Ahmedabad, Gujarat,
India (2004): A composite structure project
consisting of two high-rise residential buildings
(ten stories each). The design included 150 dwelling
units of two and three bedroom units having an area
of 1278 sq. ft. and 1665 sq. ft., respectively.
• Dharmaj Waterfront Development
Project, Dharmaj, Gujarat, India (2004):
A $5 million project for the (rural) local governing
authority of Gujarat designed for its social, economical
and cultural development of a deteriorating water
body through public participation. The project emphasized
specific guidelines and a draft development plan
with rural context. • Siddharth
Law College & Hostel, Surat, Gujarat, India
(2003): This project included designing
of college buildings and a girl’s dormitory
building. • City Gold Multiplex,
Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (2000): Based
on the concept of City Pulse, this $4.75 million
project consisted of a five-screen theater having
a total capacity of 1500 people, out of this, three
auditoriums can be converted for performing stage
shows. • City Pulse Multiplex,
Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India (1999): One
of India’s first and largest multiplex is
also a cultural center. Unlike any multiplexes City
Pulse is unique as this three-screen theater hall
having a total capacity of 1250 people, can be converted
for performing stage shows. The lavishly designed
$3.75 million complex also provided options for
bowling alleys, an art gallery, an open-air theater,
fast-food and theme restaurants. • Gujarat
Law School, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (1999):
This $5 million project included both the architecture
and interior designing of graduate school buildings.
The buildings comprised of composite structures
and provided large, uninterrupted spaces for its
classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls and administration
offices. • Mudra Institute of
Communication, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (1996):
India’s prominent media communication leader
wanted to expand their campus for media education.
The buildings comprised of load bearing, expose
brickwork and RCC structures. An $8 million project
which involved building classrooms, library, administration
offices, and dormitories. |
